One of the nicest things the AP government has done. The handicraft stalls are endless. While the true origins of the handicrafts may be suspect (you find every second stall stocking the exact same set of jewellery and accessories, and as for the other stalls, I'm not sure if they come from the places they say they do), this is undoubtedly a vast collection.

The shopping and food apart, what I also loved about the place was how they've integrated the performing arts into the whole cultural experience. We sat through a a 10-minute Kuchipudi recital (which was well-done, by the way!), and the experience was truly uplifting. Few things beat watching a graceful dancer's performance to the sound of a "Gajavadana" in an open air theatre, amid a crowd that likes this sort of thing.

Well done, Govt. of AP.
30-Jan-13
people just love this place to the core. it's purely because it is so well maintained by the ap government for telugus.
29-Jan-13
This is one of the neatly maintained places by the govt. of andhra pradesh. I sincerely appreciate this beautiful place.
26-Jan-13
I seriously recommend this wonderful ap government run place to everyone. undoubtedly we all should feel proud to have such a wonderful place.
26-Jan-13
This is one place I would never forget. After a grand seminar at HICC closeby I had an opportunity to visit this place. I really liked the arts that are on display. I bought many of them for my drawing room.
26-Jan-13
An oasis in the middle of the concrete desert called the hi tech city... Never fails to entertain !

05-Jan-13
Hyderabad has some good places like Charminar, Golconda, Gutub Shahi Tombs, etc..... but one should visit 'MANA' Shilparamam atleast once. Awesome place that talks about arts and culture. Beautiful artifacts are expensive here but worth a buy. Should checkout varieties of cloths too!
04-Jan-13
Shilparamam is maintained by AP government. It showcases our arts and culture. I like this place because it represents every Telugus face to the outside world. That's the reason most of the tourists like to visit this place during their trip to Hyd.
02-Jan-13
The best place I would say for hanging out with your girl friend. You will get camouflaged in the crowd and no one would notice:)) Just kidding.
